Holiday Hours

Starting tomorrow, I will be out for Thanksgiving until Monday the 29th. If you send me an email or leave me a message over the holiday, I will get back to you after the weekend. Thanks for your patience.

Now this is pretty cool. While I was posting about Tomie + Rusty’s Wedding Album here yesterday, their wedding was also being published on Austin Wedding Blog! Cool, right? If you’re getting married in Austin and haven’t seen this blog yet, you should definitely check it out. Rachel who runs the blog loves to post all sorts of wedding ideas, planning tips, lovely pictures, local vendors and events and real Austin weddings to inspire us all. At @AustinWeddings, she also tweets helpful info and articles that any bride can benefit from. I especially loved her recent tweet about wedding pie pops. So yummy!

Holiday Closing

Hey everyone. It’s that time of year again! We will be closed for the holidays from November 23 – 30. If you contact us during this time, we will get back to you on December 1st when we re-open. We’ll also be sharing pictures of our trip when we return from the good old state of Kansas. Til then, have a Happy Turkey Day!

This morning, I learned that we have been experiencing technical difficulties with our email for the last two weeks. We have corrected the issue and are now receiving emails normally. On a happy note, here is an image that Jeremy took of the Michigan sunset. It was during our flight back from Shirley + Tony’s Wedding. At the same moment he saw this, a song titled, The Birth and Death of the Day started to play on his ipod ^_^ (very fitting) Happy Wednesday!

We’re so excited to be featured on the lovely paper and wedding inspiration blog, Oh So Beautiful Paper! Nole Garey, a newlywed with a fondness for all things paper, has published a post on Katy + Matt’s Viriginia Wedding. Nole created the couple’s ceremony programs which we made sure to get a picture of. (so stylish!)

I’m totally loving the designs her blog showcases. Did I ever mention how much I went overboard on designing our wedding stationary? Oh my gosh, never again =) But I still go wild over great design whenever I see it. Welcome

Two years ago, I began shooting weddings as Heather Jorgensen | Photography. At that time, I was the primary photographer and my lovely husband Jeremy assisted me by carrying my very heavy camera bags. He was a good sport about it of course. But soon, he wanted to try his hand at shooting. A lot has changed since he got a hold of the camera. Now Jeremy and I photograph weddings as a team! Our styles are uniquely our own and yet they compliment each other to form beautiful and dynamic narratives of the wedding day. To reflect this transition, we have decided it’s time to change our name. Welcome to June Blossom Photography!

With a new name comes a new blog. We’ll be posting recent weddings here along with other inspirations and deviations. If you like what you see, leave a comment or link us to a friend.
